Samsung MP23L mid-power LEDs from YEG Opto
reduce system cost while increasing luminous efficacy |

 YEG Opto believes that the new Samsung MP23L LEDs, because of their efficacy, reliability and low price point, will make LED engines accessible to many applications not previously reached by solid state light sources. Also, employing them to refresh LED engines in existing applications, will show OEMs improved system efficacy and cost.
With luminous efficacy of greater than 120lm/w and a compact size of 2.3 x 2.3 mm the MP23L allows you to do more with less.
The reduced form factor allows for PCB optimization – resulting in more uniform light output, reduced overall system cost and dramatically improved heat dissipation. Furthermore, MP23L LEDs are available in colour temperatures from 2700K to 6500K, making them suitable for all types of lighting including indoor, retail, amenity, transport and exterior lighting applications.
Samsung LED (CEO, Jaekwon Kim) have announced that its mid-power MP23L LED package had now exceeded 6,000 hours of independent; EPA recognized 3rd party IES LM80 testing. The company is now able to provide LM80 test data upon request. He also added “This data along with other stringent quality assurance measures reinforces Samsung LED’s commitment to quality, high performing products across all product platforms and our mission of becoming the number one LED light source company in the world”
